Ms. Akiko Yoshimoto (Age 38)
(Adult member but taking classes of Youth members.)

1. When did you start learning Aikido? What was the reason?
I started about 3 years ago. The Dojo was near and I was curious about it.

2. What is good about Aikido for you?
Just as the word "Aikido" is written, it consists of "the other" and "KI". I met many people through Aikido.

3.What is your dream for future?
I like to live healthy and free life.

Kai Matsumoto (4th Grader, Age 9)

1. When did you start learning Aikido? What was the reason?
March 2nd, 1999. I was searching for a Budo that I can do when I was little and found that Aikido is good so I started it.

2. What is good about Aikido for you?
I think I built strength.

3.What is your dream for future?
Continue Aikido, and wear Hakama at many conventions.

Mei Matsumoto (4th Grader, Age 9)

1. When did you start learning Aikido? What was the reason?
October 2nd, 1999. My sister was doing it and it looked fun.

2. What is good about Aikido for you?
I have more fun at Gym class.

3.What is your dream for future?
Wearing Hakama at Aikido.

Emi Ohashi (3rd Grader, Age 8)

1. When did you start learning Aikido? What was the reason?
I started it when I was in a Kindergarten. My friend asked me to come and it looked fun.

2. What is good about Aikido for you?
I got stronger body and I made many friends.

3.What is your dream for future?
I want to be a singer and a pianist.

Manami Horii (3rd Grader)

1. When did you start learning Aikido? What was the reason?
I started at Age 3.

2. What is good about Aikido for you?
I have been practicing for 5 years now. I built strength.

3.What is your dream for future?
I want to teach Aikido.

Kazuma Ogasawara (1st Grader)

1. When did you start learning Aikido? What was the reason?
From Kindergarten.

2. What is good about Aikido for you?
I got strong, and I can throw my mom.

3.What is your dream for future?
A soccer player.

Hiroki Ogasawara (2nd Grader)

1. When did you start learning Aikido? What was the reason?
I started in the Spring of my 1st Grade. I thought defending myself is important as I watched other Elementary school children.

2. What is good about Aikido for you?
I can sit upright, say greetings, and listen to others in a right way.

3.What is your dream for future?
I want to be a good care-taker of mountains.

Wataru Ohashi (Age 7)

1. When did you start learning Aikido? What was the reason?
I started when I was in a Kindergarten. I went to a try-out and it was very fun so I started taking the lessons.

2. What is good about Aikido for you?
I made many friends and my body got stronger.

3.What is your dream for future?
I want to become a car dealer. I want to become an adult. I want to become a black belt.

Yuuki Oba (1st Grader)

1. When did you start learning Aikido? What was the reason?
From Kindergarten. I wanted to be strong.

2. What is good about Aikido for you?
I can hold my tears longer when I want to cry.

3.What is your dream for future?
I want to do a pet shop.

Masataka Kawanishi (Age 5)

1. When did you start learning Aikido? What was the reason?
December of last year. My mom read Mr. Morihei Ueshiba's book, saw Enbu on TV and was impressed. She advised me to do it.

2. What is good about Aikido for you?
It is fun.

Naoki Aoba (Kindergarten, Age 4)

1. When did you start learning Aikido? What was the reason?
When I was in a Kindergarten.

2. What is good about Aikido for you?
Techniques are fun.

3.What is your dream for future?
A pet shop owner with my brother.
