| FreeSpace2: The Road to SCP (5) FreeSpace2: The Road to SCP Chapter 5 - Running MODs under SCP with MediaVPs FreeSpace2: SCPへの道 第5章 - SCPでMODをMediaVPと同時に動作させる (日本語の記述は画像の下方にあります。) Section 1 - Installing another MOD I installed MediaVPs as a MOD in Chapter 3. How do I install one more MOD with MediaVPs? The answers are describes all in [ The Freespace Oracle ] by karajorma. According to that, I try to install using MOD, [ FreeSpace Port ] . Installing FreeSpace Port MOD is easy. Place all files into "FSPORT" folder that made in your FreeSpace2 folder, such as "C:\Games\FreeSpace2\FSPORT". Even FreeSpace Port consists a numbers of files, simply place all files into that folder. Section 2 - Making "MOD.ini" file "MOD.ini" file makes that SCP can recognize multiple MODs. Make MOD.ini file as a text file with following content, and place into that MOD folder, such as "C:\Games\FreeSpace2\FSPORT". [multimod] secondrylist = ,mediavps; When SCP loads FreeSpace Port MOD, reads this file and recognizes MedisVPs. Section 3 - Updating SCP core file for FreeSpace Port The latest FreeSpace Port(3.0.3) can not run with SCP official release(3.6.7). So I updated SCP using [ SCP 3.6.9 RC7 ] . Place downloaded and uncompressed files into your FreeSpace2 folder, such like "C:\Games\FreeSpace2". Section 4 - Setting The Launcher Start The SCP launcher and press "Browse" button to select new SCP kernel file. This time, select "C:\Games\FreeSpace2\fs2_open_3_6_9.exe". Then click "MOD" tab and press "Select MOD" button to select FreeSpace Port folder that you made in section 1. Finally, press "Apply" button to save settings. All preparations are completed. Click to enlarge.  第1節 - MODの追加インストール 第3章でMeviaVPをMODとしてインストールしましたが、そこにもう一つMODを追加するためには どうすればいいのでしょう？ ランチャーで指定できるMODは一つだけなので、何らかの工夫が必要です。 とは言っても、その方法はkarajorma氏の [ The Freespace Oracle ] に全部書いてあるので、 今回はそれに従い [ FreeSpace Port ] というMODを使って実際にやってみることにします。 Freespace portのインストールは、専用のフォルダを作ってそこに必要なファイルを置くだけです。 第3章でのMediaVPsと同じように、FreeSpace2がインストールされているフォルダ、例えば 「C:\Games\FreeSpace2」に「FSPORT」というフォルダを作ります。そしてそこに、FSPORTの ファイルをダウンロードして解凍しておきます。 FreeSpace Portもいくつかのファイルに分かれていますが、全部そのフォルダに置いておきます。 第2節 - MOD.iniファイルの作成 複数のMODをSCPに認識させるためには、「MOD.ini」という名前のテキストファイルを作成して、 そのMODのフォルダに置きます。今回は次の内容のMOD.iniファイルを作成して、 「C:\Games\FreeSpace2\FSPORT」フォルダに置きます。 [multimod] secondrylist = ,mediavps; これでFreeSpace PortとMediaVPsを同時にSCPで動作せられるようになります。 SCPはFreeSpace PortをロードするときにMOD.iniを読み、ここで指定されているMediaVPsを読み込みます。 第3節 - SCP本体の更新 FreeSpace Portの最新版（3.0.3）はSCPのオフィシャルリリース（3.6.7）では動作しないので、 SCPを [ SCP 3.6.9 RC7 ] に更新しました。ダウンロードしたファイルは、解凍してFreeSpace2が インストールされているフォルダに置きます。 第4節 - ランチャーの設定 ランチャーを起動して、「Browse」ボタンを押してSCPの本体ファイルを選択します。 例えば今回は「C:\Games\FreeSpace2\fs2_open_3_6_9.exe」になります。 次に「MOD」タブの「Select MOD」ボタンを押して、第1節で作った「FSPORT」フォルダ を選択します。「Apply」ボタンを押して設定を保存します。 これで設定は完了です。今回はFreeSpace Port用のミッション [ The Eve of Destruction ] を 使用しました。このミッションはFreeSpace1のデモのミッションで、GTC Orffを護衛する内容です。 上記のスクリーンショットがそれの開始直後のもので、クリックすると拡大されます。 「アイヒアーユアーニュートゥーザギャラテー」。 何もかも皆懐かしいです。 今回のまとめ (1) SCPでMODをインストールするときは、FS2のインストールされているフォルダの中にそのMOD用のフォルダを作ってそこにファイルを置きます。 (2) MOD.iniファイルを使うと、そのMODをMediaVPsと同時に動作させられます。 (3) FreeSpace Port3.0.3はSCP3.6.7では動作しないので、SCPを3.6.9RC7に更新します。 なお、日本語の情報源としては、[ Stardog's Nest ] があります。今回も参考にさせて いただきました。いつも情報ありがとうございます。 |
